Does anyone have a detailed discription of replacing the rear wheel bearings.

I know it is in the repair manual,but that was printer 30 years ago.

I was afraid of that,will look for am expert near by.

if you need new rear bearings you might just as well redo the trailing arm as well it is all the same unit.
your best bet would be to get a hold of GTR1999 give him a PM.I believe he lives around new haven CT.
he rebuilds them and will give you the best advice of anyone I know for the T/A's

Changing the rear bearings on a C2/3 can be a DIY task but it's for "advanced" DIYs with skill, experience and tools approach professional level.

If you're going to farm the job out, you can't go wrong with GTR1999. He knows his stuff when it comes to drive axles for Corvettes.
