I know I should know this but.....what is the width of the original wheel for an '81? hnoes 15x?. I'm thinking of buying some new wheels and want to stay with the original size.

OEM: 15x8, 255/60/15 tires, usually H rated

Mine: 17x8, 255/50/17 Z rated tires

15x8 was stock whether you got the rallies or the optional aluminum.
