Where to find great cheap wheels for my 86

16s are hard to find these days (17s too), all the companies are going to 18s, 19s, and 20s. There are some really nice wells, but they will be older, used wheels. I have seen in "FOR SALE" sections of other forums 16 x 8.5 some examples of those wheels. Some have been reasonably priced too. Good luck with your search.

Seriously though, have you searched Craigslist? You can really find some great deals on there. Might find some new wheels because some folks might not want to ship something so big/heavy.

Are you looking for new stock wheels? Check ebay.
Are you looking for ZR-1 wheels? In 16 "? I think they made some 16 inch ZR-1 wheels for the early camaro and firebirds. The tires might not fit though. You probably need new tires in the near future any way. Go on ebay there is tons of wheels that will fit your car.

American racing torque thrust II's are really nice on the early models
or if the C5 or C6 rims strike your fancy go with them.
Wheels and tires go for about $1000 to $1400 on ebay.
Just search the corvette sites for vettes with different wheels and buy what you like.
The 17s or bigger look better, imo.

I have ARE 17x8 Torqlites shod with 255/50/17s.
For your Vette.... look into 93+ Camaro wheels. They have the right backspace and lug pattern. However, most are 8" wide. You'll most likely need new tires.
Not bad for $185 a piece. You said you wanted cheap. Maybe these will suffice visually considering the cost savings.
