Looking to find a new ecm/mem-cal. Does anyone know where I can find one? Would the local advance auto be able to obtain one for me? Just curious. Got a check engine light with only the Code 12... Thanks

Try reseating the chip. Spray the contacts with electrical contact cleaner then reinstall it, clear codes and road test.

Where is the chip located? Thanks for the help. I'll see how it turns out...

The chip in inside the ECM, you will need to remove it from the car. There is a small cover you need to remove.

Just in case you don't have a FSM...

Disconnect the NEG post on the battery.
Unbolt the ECM and remove the plug in connectors. (probably a good time to check the condition of the connectors. Clean if needed)
There is a small access cover on the bottom of the ECM.
Remove the mem-cal and clean as noted above.
Replace and test drive to see if codes set.
