Which product is recommended for removing swirls by hand application?

I have been working on a yacht that has European cherry and burled redwood interior with 10 coats of hand applied polyurethane finish. They use Cornstarch to buff the finish to a mirror smooth gloss. I'm finding Cornstarch inside the door frames and cabinets, so I know this to be true.

It seems to work very nicely for this application, and if the automotive finishes are anything like it, it should look great!

Zaino has a new product for removing swirls

I have tried it and it does seem to work. It is called something like emulsifer. I took off some spots and scratches on my car. Also Zaino has another new product a QD spray called Z-8. Smells good too.:_rock

Maybe you could get a defense if you referred to them as mature studs and not old timers. ;)
Ok ,Ok, Ken CornStarch Work's Great!! But whata F-ing Mess!!;LOL gmjunkie!!

Just reading through the thread, this is quite interesting and entertaining!
The cornstarch idea is original, is it like putting butter on burns? ;LOL

When I got my vette, it was a good 10' car. But its bloody hard to drive it @ 10'.

Got frustrated, so stripped it, colour sanded it with 2000 wet & dry (to rid the dreaded orange peel, or car cellulite as I like to call it), scratch X to any remaining niggles (read all) and finished with NXT, now i have a car thats looks like wet black glass. (In fact one of my friends thought I'd re-painted the car).

Just my $ 0.02 worth, now if I could just work out how to get 2000hp, 200 miles to the gallon and 400 mile an hourtop speed, I'd be set! ;LOL

I prefer Zaino Fusion for use by hand, it also works well with a PC and a Rotary. Menzerna and Poorboys also makes some good polishes but Zaino has become my favorite recently.
