ref to: It happens to me almost every time I take her out. The other night, as I was going to pick up my daughter from work, this guy in a beemer plasters himself on my rear bumper. All I could see was face in my rear view. So------ I just gradually came to a complete stop, which completely stopped him. The funniest part was watching him squealing away at high speed. Oh- forgot to mention- when I finally caught up to him, he was pulled over by an Edison cop. Justice done
Ah sweet justice
They can't keep up with my super torqie 87, i just bought it, duno why its so darn torqie torqie, peels rubber at lights if you just hit the gas pedal normally, so I have to really ease into it, kind of very gently hit gas pedal from lights and stop signs because around here, cops give you tickets for laying rubber at stops, if they see you.
but my 1980, well of course, that's no racer, so until i put in a nice 350 hp beast engine in there, or 400hp maybe, hmmm :cool
people do like to tailgate the 80 and although I can get away if I wanted to, I just mostly let them cause other day, one guy drove up next to me as asked me, "wanna trade?" and I laughed.. numerous times people pull up next to me to ask what year it is, people walk over at gas stations to check it out, ask year and all that... complete strangers... I even get old ladies at gas stations giving me the old smile and eye, then they ask me about the car ...lol
so, hey, its an attention getter, the 1980 really gets a lot of attention, more than my c4, but the c4, well, that technology is so superior to the 1980, wow. I used to have an 88 but it wasn't really as torqie as this 87 and the 88 had a chip in it. Sold that in Nevada. Had a 79 and an 81, the 81 was nice, I used to get notes on the windshield in the colllege parking lot about how nice the car was, handscribbled notes from I don't know who...lol
none of those notes had phone numbers on them though :ugh
anyway, vettes get attention, always have and always will
