DOES ANYONE HAVE WIND NOISE COMING FROM THE TOP OF THE WINDOW ON THE COUPE:cool

Yep. I believe it's the window-to-weatherstripping problem. All Vettes [coupes] have it, I believe. Sometimes if I roll the window down (crack) and roll it back up, it seals a little better.

I believe the first few '97's had this problem (a lot worse) and they were called back and fixed (don't quote me on this). Something about the window coming away from weather-stripping and flapping like a bird.

It's normal.....but not wanted......

Yes my 02 coupe has wind noise coming from the drivers side window. It will start at about 90-100 mph. Normal driver on the highway (70-80) it never makes any noise. I can tell it is coming in through the window though. After looking at the window and weatherstripping I noticed that my window had room to go up farther. My passenger window goes up about 1/8" more into the weatherstripping then the driver side and the passenger side is quiet. The passenger window fits much more firmly into the seal than the drivers window. I figure if I have the window adjusted so it will roll up farther the noise will stop. Check to make sure your window rolls up such that it fits firmly into the stripping.

I haven't taken it in yet but I am going to this week. I'll take it to the dealer and have them adjust the window so it rools up father. There should be a mechanical adjustment that they can make to allow the window to rool up father. If it is still under warranty take it to the dealer. If not, take it somewhere like a body shop because they are probably going to be cheaper.

I have noticed the same thing and it starts around 100 - 120. Since I don't "live" at this speed I just accept it when it occurs. I remember a buddy of mine got a new 300 Z and took it back to the dealer because his windows "whistled" at 145mph. He was upset that this occured on his new Z. I just stared at him funny and asked him if he actually expected soft rubber to serve as a perfect seal at those speeds.

I had wind noise on both sides...the windows get "sucked" away from the wether strip @ speed.....some more than others...have your dealer tech make a simple window adjustment
