window channel install

My 67 coupe needs new window channels (the uppers, the ones at the top of the window and down the sides) installed. I bought the pair from Zip and am ready to proceed. Looking for help/instruction/tips.
I am told door panels need to be removed, but what about window glass? Anyone have a reference book or instructions? Thanks.
