Since I had the fire in June my car,a 1960, has been in one shop (for the mechanical) or the other shop (for paint), I have decided that along with the complete new paint, and the new or rebuilt hardware under the hood I would finally try to find the correct windshield washer system. I and my mechanic have been looking for the pump system (I have the bottle, hoses, and proper cap) but we can't seem to find it. I would really like to get this taken care of this winter so come spring I can drive the car. To me it is even more critical next year then in years past because the car was in the shop being repaired all summer and fall. Any suggestions as to where I might find the system. I bid on one on ebay but was not the successful bidder. I haven't seen them at any of the sources I normally use (Covette Central, Eckler's and Vettegal) and haven't seen one. I also have done a search on Yahoo and haven't been able to come up with anything. The car is numbers matching and is mostly original. Those parts that aren't original and either NOS or correct repops. Any help that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

You need to talk to Tom Maxwell at Capital Auto Restoration in Gaithersburg, Maryland, (301) 948-9481; he's the NCRS "guru" for C1 wiper/washer systems, and can fix you right up. :)
