I am in the process of putting the insicde of the car back together. My wipere switch worked as I have been restoring for a couple of years. Now when I try to turn it on all I get is the selinoid or switch just click.

I don't think the switch is bad but something I may have done rewiring or ?.

I have checked wires and can't see anything that is ovious. Does anyone have any ideas or a diagram that really shows picture of inside the engine compartment?

I am going crazy and I know it is something simple. I would appreciate any help at all. The headlights work so I don't think it is a vaccuum problem?

Thanks so much for any help you can give me.

check your grounds to the switch and make sure you do not have the switch plugged in backwards it is very easy to do only my 2 cents :upthumbs steve

Although this was for the '68, I'm pretty sure it is the same for a '69 (from the tech center knoledgebase on this site):

But, as a quick check, make sure there is a ground to your wiper motor case. There should be a male spade terminal on the top of the motor case. Many times I've read that this was disconected and forgotten about.
