Which battery cable should I disconnect before I store my car for the winter??

Remove both cables and take the battery out for the winter and put it on a wooden board. That way the charge will not bleed off.
It will last a lot longer if it does not experience the cold outside temperatures. It's easier to keep charged if you don't have to go outside to do it too. I'm topping off the charge on mine every couple of weeks in the basement, since I don't have a battery tender, and have a couple of MC batteries too.
