Wiper knuckles

Anyone ever have problems with their wiper knuckles? Mine don't move as freely as I think they should, and I have burnt out two wiper motors over the last 3 years. Can the pivots be lubed or should they just be replaced? thanks.

where are you talking about? behind the mtr or on the side

on the side - where the wiper transmission arms mate to the blade arms.
