I'm in the process of re-wiring my engine compartment in my 65. The wiring is a combination of original harness and the previuos owners abortion.
There is a ring lug on the plastic hose fittings of the water spray connection that the wire boke off so I don't know what ties there. I also have a ground wire that is supposed to go to the wiper motor that has a push on connector but I can't see any male push on connector on the motor that isn't already used.
Does anyone know where the ground hooks to and what the ring lug connection would have went to.
YES I do have the wiring diagrams but that isn't descriptive enough. That just shows that there is a ground wire running to it.
Any one know of a link that might have a photo of the wiper motor?

Any help would be GREAT.
Thanks, Mark

I am heading home from work now I will take a peak at my 1966 as see what I can find

If your wiper motor is like 63-64, there should be an extra spade connector bolted on to one of the wiper motor cover plate bolts. This brass spade connector looks like a single "prong" from the back of a headlight. It's technically a male spade connector. The wiper ground from your harness slides over this connector.

From your description of the other problem, I can't decipher what/which area you're speaking of. Chuck
