This is very strange to me, but when I reassembled my interior after replacing all the wiring in the car the wipers came in with the switch in the off position, and turned off in the On Position. They also had only one speed. It worked with the old wiring. I have put the plug on the opposite way, changed the wires on the motor, nothing seems to work.
This is in a 75. Has anyone seen this problem before? I would be interested to hear from you.
This is one up from my 72 in which after a full restoration, the wipers will only work if I override the door and hold the switch in as if I want to clean the windshield. I spent man yhours trying to find this problem and finally gave up. I carry Duct tape in case of rain. Since I am posting for one problem I might as well ask for help on the other as well.
