Since I have the enginge out of my 73 Im straightening up the engine bay a little. What should I do with the wiring harness? It seems to be in great shape. Should I re-wrap it in electrical tape or wire loom? What have any of you guys done? Thanks for your help and suggestions...

I think what you do if there are no problems is your call. You say the harness is in VG condition, so why spend the money for a new harness? If the original wrapping is in good condition just clean it off with a rag and some lacquer thinner. I wouldn't use the electrical tape as I don't think it will hold up as well as the original wrapper. That is all that was necessary on my 69. I believe in the KIS principle and keeping everything as original as possible but as I said, it's your call..

My vote is with Red . . I cleaned up the tape on the original wiring-- or on individual wires themselves in the same manner-- then used tire foam or armor-all on the harness tape, wires-- even plug wires to restore some luster. I think this is truly an area where "if it's not broken . . " and there would appear to be little other preventive maintenance that should be done.
