Wiring question

I finally got some under the hood lamp bulbs. I remember reading on this site that some people put a switch under the hood that allows them to turn the lights off when working on the car. Where would be a good spot to splice the switch so it will control both lights. I want to mount the switch under the hood, not in the interior. If anyone has a picture also that would really help me.

I put my inline rotary switches where the wires came up into the clam shell.
