So I took my '90 coupe, my first Corvette which I've only owned for two weeks, into the shop last Saturday to get all the annoying little problems fixed (weatherstripping, nonfunctioning Bose CD player, airbag light, etc.) Now I'm totally irritable at work, I'm snapping at my friends and at my spouse, and I nearly slid my 1995 Volvo 940 Turbo daily driver off the freeway ramps several times trying to generate some lateral g-forces. What am I going to DO for the next two weeks? Help me out, old-timers who've been through this before! :confused

Please, get out of the Volvo before you kill yourself. Then, stay on this site and read every post on every subject. It's called Corvette immersion and gives you no time to think about your Corvette. Time will pass, yes it will.

If you think you're irritable now, just wait until you get the bill!
I agree with Paul T, spend as much time as possible on this site. You can learn to do alot of the work yourself. You will save money and not have the separation anxiety. There is an amazing amount of talent and information available from members, as well as a spirit of wanting to help others with their problems.

Get a PlayStation 2 and drive your Corvette in Gran Turismo. :D

The game provides a pretty darn good simulation of what the car will actually do, and it's good practice... and a reasonable temporary substitute...

You think you have it bad. My parents took away my car until the summer because of bad grades. The car has no collision on it. IT SUCKS!
