so ive been visiting my sister in LA for her USC Graduation and naval commissioning, at the moment im sitting at a gate in LAX before i fly home to DFW.

anyway, she has a 94 vette with a few issues that im having transported to my house in texas (shes giving it to me). so my first questionis about the service:

what would be a good transportation service for a c4 from LA to DFW (texas)?

there are a few more issues, first of all being the transmission.
the vette has a salvage title because it was rebuilt after a collision, the rebuilders put in an LS1 instead of the original LT1, so im not sure of the transmission inside. it has one issue my sister told me about: sometimes after a bit of highway driving (60+ mph) when she drives back into the city for a stop of some kind, the transmission has an issue downshifting i guess into the lower gears when coming to a stop. all i know is that it is an automatic transmission.

what is wrong, and how much would it cost to fix?

the third issue is the glass top. it's cracked and the frame's bolt holes are stripped, and the top is cracked. so far the cheapest i have found for a replacement is 450$.
is there a cheaper place to order a new top from?

ill do my best to reply when i get back. any response or recommendation is welcome
