After following Vigman's series I got a lot accomplished today, needless to say I didn't get much done today via work, except once again visiting the Dodge service department. However a lot got done on the vette today.

Holes that someone drilled in the vert deck lid (hardtop mount location) got the black plugs removed, drilled holes to 1/2 inch and installed chrome trim.

Replaced drivers side parking lamp turn signals still didn't work but parking light says lite now.

Discovered that the switch bubba installed under the dash is for the back up lights (Hurst shifter).

Discovered my power antennae actually works (found this the same time as above) The sw has the toggle broken off it, new sw to be installed. Although the antennae is still going to be replaced w/ a 67 fixed mast though.

Replaced the gas tank overflow rubber, boy was the old one brittle. Still have to get nipple and hose so that if it does spill it will go somewhere besides on top of the gas tank.

Try to align the vert deck lid w/o success though, This has to be a two man job and I was short at least one man today. Oh well that will get done soon.

Turn signals now work it was just the flasher, removed the one from the hazards that worked somewhat (DIM AND FAST) installed it in place of turn signals and they now flash slow and bright.

Replaced the bolts that bubba had in the spark plug shielding w/ wingnuts...

Well that I have rambled on and on I think I'll take a drink...

Okay one last thing something is loose in the steering column still and I don't have the courage to pull the steering wheel quite yet... Dave..

Hey it DOES sound like me

( not enough grousing though)

LOL

NICE JOB.. KEEP IT UP!

Vig~

Jeff,
You know my dad said the same thing the other day.. It went something like this... Me " bla bla bla bla this and that" Dad " You know you won't have to worry about bla bla bla this and that if you just drop it off with Phil and hand him 25k" Me " Ya Stacie will go for that almost as fast as she will another hole in her head ".

I got the state inspection today and the signals work but guess what now.... The brake lights didn't. I ask the guy you got a 20a fuse.. Nope.. He says go get a switch and slaps a sticker on it. I go no I think it's the fuse that is blown... He goes GET A SWITCH.. I say thanks and pull off before he changes his mind and puts a rejection sticker on it. Long story short hooked up new sw no joy. Okay pull fuse and hook old switch up GOT LIGHTS. And people say I work on electronics for a living.. Who would've guessed.... Dave..

What are you trying to allign is it side to side body lines or is it the height at the rear lip?

If its the height at the rear lip of the lid to the body you raise the rear of the deck lid rear edge up to the cars line with shims between the deck lid hinge and the deck lids (works perfectley)
its no problem doing by your self if you are doing side to side adjustments purchase some Cheap blue 3M low stick tape (any good hardware store has it )and tape all of the edges so you get no scratches

IH2LOSE, I was trying to align it side to side b/c when you go to shut it, it seems the whole assy is towards the pass side. Once you shut it it's aligned pretty well b/c it has to be due to the latches. It's not a big deal just one of things that I notice and want to try and correct..
