I hope you reconsider selling it, give yourself some time to think,then go to work fixing it. I know you are feeling low right now but give it a few days and don't make any hasty decisions.

I agree. It's not as bad as I was expecting, and the frame can be pulled. I bounced mine off a concrete wall at the '01 convention, and my A-arm was also touching the fan shroud, I had the frame pulled and with a new wheel the damage only cost about $500. The fiberglass can be fixed easily as well, but I'd put an entire front clip on it.

That car can be fixed...I have no doubt about that.
Heck, you could keep it and make lemonade out of your lemons.
Find a different front clip and rebuild it...only better. Kinda like the six million dollar man!
I would like to see a tilt nose, or a 80-82 style front clip on there.
I am not a big fan of the fixed mount headlights, so if it were me, this would be a good time to get that back to the pop ups, since the nose is going to have so much attention anyway.
For your $2,500 price though, you should have no trouble getting rid of it as is.
Good luck with whatever you decided to do.

Oh man...that's a heart breaker! Same thing happened to my Vette. After awhile...I thought about the situation and figured that I would drive the thing regardless what it looked like. I just had to drive the darn thing....it's like my therapy...
A year later...it still has a noticeably patched drivers side front fender...but hey...it IS a Vette...
