Anyone know the part number or where I can find one?

No car equipped with a ZF S6-40 ever used a cable-driven speedometer.
When you say "ZF6" are you talking about the ZF S6-40 or some other transmission? If it is, in fact, a ZF S6-40, it must have been converted accept a driven gear and a cable.
Is that the case with your transmission?
HIB,The only car sold in North America which used the S6-40 was the 89-96 Corvette. Only three axle ratios were available. A few 89s had 3.54s but all the rest had 3.45s or 3.33s You didn't mention what model year the ZF came from but it's probably out of a car with a 3.45 axle. If that comes with a 15-tooth gear, the trans used with 3.54 axle likely had one tooth difference or no difference. 3.33 might be two teeth.
Finding a 42 tooth gear from a Vette ain't gonna happen.
Now the S6-40 was used in two other vehicles in Europe. I have no idea what the axle ratio of those would be. You'd have to get in touch with someone who knows a lot about the ZF to find that out.
Search the web for the ZFdoc.
You also may need to look into some kind of adapter device to make it all work.
Good luck.
HIB,
Thanks again for the answer to a question that I did not ask...
Apparently you looked at my avatar and assumed that I was working with that car (the 62)
and ignored the actual OP request for a specific part and went off on that tangent.
