Hi all,

I'm looking for the socket that holds the bulb for the seatbelt warning indicator for my '71.

Thanks in advance

Over the counter at most auto parts places. The one I'm using in my '68 actually came out of a junk Pinto. The socket holds a small push in bulb and locks into the back of the cluster with a quarter turn.

Mike, Would you happen to know the diameter of the opening? I did purchase a socket from a local parts store and it was a 5/8" socket, but from trying it, it seems too small? I removed the cover that holds the wiper switch and reached my hand in to inset it.

Thanks

That's OK, I now know it's a 1/2" diameter. I just need to locate one. Can't seem to find a suitable replacement around town. I think I can wait 'till Carlisle.

Thanks

Robert
