Yet another variation of a turbo Vette!

Josh, whaddya doin over there on the Subie forums? ;shrug

I dunno know if what the guy is doing there is legit or not. Looks as though he is just sitting the turbo in there for a "photogenic" effect and really doesn't have anything fabricated for it.

My guess is that the guy did a cam swap (notice the radiator and A/C lines are disconnected) and while it was apart-- they sat the turbo in there for some picture taking! ;)
 
I read the whole thread and even though it seems to be "legit" why go through all that trouble? I am sure there is a way to get lots of power without cutting/fabricating a vette that way....

I would rather spend my money and let a tuner have at it than taking that person's approach.... but that's just me.....

Why stop there, for a few dollars more, he could have put a jet engine in there. Probably would get better mileage and wouldn't have to worry about shooting down an aircraft when his heads and/or pistons go through the hood.
