Sure seems to be the going trend there.

Im still trying to figure out how dumb its gonna look with a front tag up there in that "smile" grill!

I still cant believe that they did not come up with a better idea, instead of screwing some holes into the bumper. Idiots!

Is that front end a one piece front end?No more front bumper? That cant be right.

The bumper cover is a separate piece like it currently is in the C5. If you look carefully you can see the seems where the panels meet. Hard to see in these pictures.

As to the license frame, are there any shots from the front looking up into the grill? I would think there would be some mounting holes for a bracket so that you wouldn't have to screw a plate into the bumper.

I can see we lost the center storage well as I look at the frame rear pic. :(

Man, we got ripped off out here at the LA show. We didn't get no stinking chassis! That's very cool. We didn't get a solstice either.

It wont be long and I think owners will want to lose the splitter pipes on the back of the mufflers.

Now I see what you mean, thanks Rain. :duh

Those are a bit odd huh?

Who needs a front plate?

I've never had one on any of my sports cars in California and I've been pulled over several times for driving just a tad fast and none of the CHP's said a word or wrote it up as a violation ;)

MD cops will ticket

MD cops will ticket you for that. I have been pulled over just for that.

They have these new "transportation" cops that patrol the airport and roads leading up to it, looking to score revenue for the state.

So, if I drive to work (at the airport) I have to have the tag, so I have the tag now all the time.

That's a drag, I think front license plates ruin the esthetics of a sports car, but the law is the law.

You should write the state and suggest a new source of revenue for them tied to car enthusiasts. Something like donating $500.00 to the state will allow you to forgo the front plate :) You kind of pay the penalties up front so to speak.

If it was an issue in California, I'd bet Arnie would go for it in a heart beat :)

Could always move to a state that doesn't have front plates at all!!!......Michigan
