First off, Welcome to CAC. You have tapped into a wealth of knowledge here. And it just so happens that I have C6 Z06 shocks on my 01 coupe (non Z06). I couldn't tell any difference in ride height, rebounding or bottoming out. I can't speak to the lowered vehicle though. The biggest thing I noticed was the stiffer valving and the (slightly) rougher ride. But temper that with the fact that I have base suspension on my coupe (except for the shocks) and I went from that to the much larger shocks. I was going to go with the Bilsteins, but found this set of slightly used Z06 shocks for about the price one Bilstein.
