I just noticed a water leak on one of the lower head bolts on my zz4 motor on the left bank near the front of the motor. It's also leaking a black goo.

I got a half inch wrench on it and was able to tighten it a bit. Should I just re-torque it down or should I pull it out and reapply some sealer, then torque it.

What do I torque it down to?

Thought I'd post it here since the L98 is similar to the ZZ4 motor.

Thanks

Yes!!!!!!!!!! get a torque wrench and do the bolts over in the proper sequence. They have been known to come loose.

(happened to me)

check the manuel you may need teflon sealer too steve
