Help! Grinding when shift into reverse

Hello I am new here and went through several forumns and googled the topic to diagnose my problem. I just had the following components of my clutch system replaced: Flywheel, clutch (kit), slave and master clutch cylinder, clutch hose line and system bleed several times. Now before the last service was done which was the slave cylinder replacement my pedal was giving heavy resistance and not enganging the hydralic system properly not that problem is fixed and I am able to gear into 1-4 and overdrive unit (3 over) is function welll also. But when i try to shift into reverse all grinding occurs. I can shift into reverse with car off and proceed that way with no grinding fine. Any ideas? I heard several ideas such as synhronization issues, clutch replacement done incorrectly or linkage adjustment. Anyone help would be greatly appreciated because this is causing me to lose hair:bash
 
If you can't get the trans in reverse without grinding and you have to turn the engine off to get it in gear, your clutch is draging.

Possibilities:
Incorrect clutch parts.
Incorrect clutch release bearing
Insufficient clutch master or slave travel.
air in the hyd. clutch system.
 
Sounds similar to what the chevrolet dealership told me they said something about problems/failure in the clutch bell housing. Thank you Hib this is very useful information I will take this as well as the information back to the shop who did my engine replacement/clutch replacement. They should be able to resolve this issue I may want to check my fluid in my transmission while i am at it.

No pulling at all before I release the pedal off the floor.
 
Could be a sticky pilot bushing. The forward gears are synchronized so you might not notice a light drag.
Not sure if the 4+3 has any issue with this, but on a ZF six speed no grease should be put on the pilot bushing unless it is a needle bearing assembly. The grease dries and drags the input shaft. You might have old school mechanic working on it that did this if it is applicable to the 4 + 3 .

i had a 4+3 and i always heard that if it grinds when going into reverse its a sighn that the OD is going bad...but thats just what i was told

Im sorry I was mistaken I went outside and diagnosed the problem it is pulling before I release the pedal off the floor. If i start it in first it seems to pull a little when i release the break and starts to go forward.
 
Then IF you're lucky, you have only a problem of too little travel in the linkage - in other words, the linkage somewhere from the pedal to the pressure plate (which compresses the clutch disk against the flywheel) has slack in it.

Linkage travel gets applied to arrow.

That would be good hopefully save me alot of wasted time and money I am thinking about sending it off to my mechanic who did the original work tmrw or just take it too Aamco but not really trying to pay extra cost when it should have been done right the first time.
