SO I woke up yesterday morning an discovered my targa is cracked on the top passenger side. Is this a sign of poor suspension? Or maybe a acorn hit the top when I was sleeping or driving? Does anybody know how to tell what signs are what?

The hard top is part of the frame. When you drive with the top off the car will slip and slide and not handle very well. The frame tweaks around and that prevents the suspension from working as it should.

When the top is firmly bolted on its like a frame member. It feels the same stress as any other frame section. If you park or drive up an unlevel driveway or parking space, that can leave the frame twisted in a way that transmits the stress directly to the top.

Many people have experienced not being able to get thier top back on at times....they wrestle with it for hours, jump on it, jack the car, do all sorts of things with no luck.
After they roll the car back 10' to a level spot the top always drops in place...

My top just did the same thing on my 95 ncrs low mileaege car.
