That's right folks, Jesse and I met up for the first time (he came up from NC on his way to Missouri), although we've known each other on the forums for a while. The very first thing that I tried to do was get Jesse in trouble with this hot little number at the place we decided to grub (The Tilted Kilt). She was game, but Jesse wasn't biting! :L

He'll be back and I'll just have to throw more women at him!

We had a good time, talking about all kinds of things Corvette and repairs. Jesse had just assisted me via the web in the A/C compressor, accumulator and orifice repair that I just completed on my Vette. Write-up to follow. It was a good time and I was stoked to meet the man himself. I look forward to a continued learning relationship with a man who has put some time behind some wrenches. Thanks for visiting Junk!

AH, . . . a meeting of minds, what greatness has that type of event has come over the years, Edison's light-bulb, The wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk, or just two really nice gentlemen and a laugh over dinner. Thanks killain! I have personally benefited from Jesse's postings and knowledge and was humbled by the fact that he wanted to sit down and break bread (of buffalo wings and a giant medium well burger!). There's nothing like sitting down with a good Corvette brother. The man is about as down to earth as they get and he can tell some stories.

Perhaps; I'm naturally quiet (introverted) in social situations...

But if my past experience is any guide, I wouldn't even get the opportunity to prove you right or wrong... On the rare occasions when I do encounter a cute one, she's always proven to be either unavailable, uninterested, unintelligent, or untrustworthy...

I'm pretty sure Jesse brought some White Lightning to CruiseFest a few years back, but I certainly don't recall it looking like that! Maybe that was the genie in the bottle?
