MAP Sensor Replacment Question

Just wondering if the exact replacement for the MAP sensor is still available or not? I got a replacement MAP connector (just in case) and found that the connector keying is different; it will not plug into the '81 MAP sensor.

So has anyone had to replace the MAP sensor and had to splice in a new connector or did you find an exact replacement?

I got it from a non-Corvette vendor along with some other parts that I needed. Thought it would just be handy to have, just in case. I think it will fit the 95 or 96 Corvettes...just not the 81.

I searched and found several sites that list a MAP sensor for the 81...but of course cannot see what the connector keying is.

The MAP in my 81 is working fine for all I know...no codes anyway. And I guess I could check the output using a vacuum pump just to be sure.
