8:30 PM in B.G., and it's been raining since you left, Catbert. In fact, overhead now is a big-assed line of thunderstorms. It raining cats/dogs. Just drove back from the Montana after beers and a steak dinner. Lots of flooded intersections. Must be a lot of accidents because I pulled over twice for BGFD Engines on runs.
All I can say is I hope all the heavy weather is gone before I fly out of BNA tomorrow. Not interested in starting a 7-hr trip to California (via Denver and Las Vegas) by taking off in a thunderstorm.
The Bash? NCM continues to have problems, in a few areas, with making events run smoothly, but...they had the biggest crowd of the last few years and that was in-spite of this morning's crappy weather.
C7 is an awesome car and GM put on great presentations for the folks. In fact, the last of the two presentions today, Tom Peters/Kirk Bennion on the exterior design and Tadge Juechter/Harlan Charles on the overview of the car, were by far the best seminars of the weekend. In fact, Tom Peters filled the Conference Center almost to capacity. First time I'd seen that room so full.
