Hi, My name is Paul and I live in Pueblo West ,Colorado. I am somewhat new to this, but in reading it, it sounds great. I had a 65 red vette when I was 20 yrs old, but Uncle sam got me and the car was sold. Here we are some 40 odd years later, I'm still here and the fortunate owner of a 1985 Lt Blue/Dark Blue,350 Automatic,removable roof, engine,transmission, and rear end have been completely reworked about 25 k mi ago. In the process of restoring the interior and seats right now,other than that, it runs great and a blast to drive. The interesting part comes up about 2 months ago. I see an add for sale of a 1986 white/silver 350 corvette. The add goes away in 2 weeks. I saved the add and my wife says just for kicks, see if it is still available Amazingly, it is still for sale. Go look at it and almost fell over. It had 28 k miles on it. new BF Goodrich tires, new Battery, never been wet, you have to see it to believe me. It runs like new and of course looks like it too. Turns out, the owner passed away and his son didn't want to keep it and sold it to me. I am also fortunate to have 2 Mustangs as well. Probably shouldn't admit to that though. Can you tell I Love Cars. Well that's my story. Would like to here from you all sometime. I saw a post from a new member and it stated that it is custom to have breakfast at your home if your a newbie...all 1200 corvette folks, just to let you know, I will be out of town tomorrow...................
