Is it possible to upgrade a manual heater/ac control to the automatic one? What else is there besides the head unit itself?

Lots of things!!!Two completely different animals!!! Don't get me wrong it can be done,with allot of time and $$$$!!! It's not worth your time $$ and effort!!

Think if it this way, you may have the manual control, but it is one thing less that will break on you and there are quite a few things that can cause the automatic controls not to function correctly and they are not usually easily fixed. hnoes
