So I thought a fuel injector had clogged in my '86. Turned out to be a broken pushrod and/or failed lifter (didn't make any noises until it broke) in the No. 3 exhaust valve. Symptom was a cool-burning No. 3 cylinder, though plugs were brown instead of white like the others. Should have been my clue.

Anyway, I got Accel 26 lb injectors to replace the stock original 21 lb (iron head L98) Rochester injectors. Do I need to recalibrate the ECM chip?

Accel recommends 26 lb for my application (engine rated HP ~ 350 HP and comp ratio above 9.7:1 (it's 9.8:1).

Is this engine modified? I ask because you list 350hp but the OE rating was 230.
