I'm wanting to upgrade my ignition but it seems there is not a lot of choices for the 93 with the opti-spark 1. There are plenty to chose from for the opti 2. What's the difference between the two, and can I put a 2 on mine?

Actually you need 2 ports and 2 lines,1 from a vacuum source in the manifold,1 to the air bridge!!I can't help with Opti 1 or Opti-2, but I was reading a 'CorvetteFever' magazine a few years ago and one of the writers/Mechanics, a man named Chris Petris, wrote about dealing with the Opti-spark system and how he retro-fits some of the units he repaces with a small port nozzel to which he attaches a small vacume line. Which he said helps to keep any moisture out of the opti-spark distributor?
