Ok, YOUR IGNORANT!!
My guess is either you have turned them on accidentally playing with the dash light dimmer,or you have slammed the door to hard and knocked a door switch out of adjustment or broke one!!Easy to do on a older C4!!
PS You might try to open and shut the hatch too!

SO...THAT LEAVES ME WITH DOOR SWITCH...HMMMM..
CAN THIS SWITCH BE DISCONECTED...TEMPORARLY WITHOUT MAJOR SURGERY ON THE DOOR??
