Help! missing key

new member, I found 1990 for sale but owner lost ign key, does 90 have a resistor chip in ign key ?? If so how can car be started ???

Yes resistor key .. not sure how to find out what the value of the resistor is.
Maybe GM has record of the value by VIN . The key can be made by VIN reference.

Yep, I agree! I got my blank keys from: Streetkeys.com

I highly recomend them, shipping is fast, and service is good! I think they have a thing where you send a copy of the pink slip and your vin and they can cut the key... Call and ask!
