Absolutely amazing. Two pages of posts to argue against Zora, the father of the C2/C3 Corvette suspension, with a peer reviewed SAE published technical paper no less.

Good choice. My 40th has been my daily driver for 19 years and has over 190K on the clock.
A few repairs along the way but a strong performer.
May you never have to put in a heater core.....
Drive on!
Mike
Just an FYI for those who have 93-94 LT1's with the prime pipe tube fitting on the master cylinder reservoir. GM discontinued the cylinder and the reservoir from all my searches. Aftermarket new master cylinder from all the usual suspects comes with the 95-96 reservoir without the prime pipe...
Welcome from another C4 NC'er in the western end of the state. You will enjoy that car so get out and drive it like you stole it. Mine is in the lot at work today with almost 185K on the clock and I'm a better man for it.
Thanks,
Mike
Yoda,
I am not old or grumpy and I agree with you. Sam is a "Champion" of his own ego on this show. Sad it used to be a good source of weather. The early version before he opens his piehole is pretty good with Al and Stephanie still showing their meterological chops.
Sam Champion reminds me...
Photos would help. My 72 original with no hits or door hinge problems has a much bigger gap at door top than bottom.
As much as we love the C3's they were pretty crudely built cars if you check out the factory photos.
Thanks,
Mike
Temp
If the AC is on or the temp will run 195-200F most of the time when moving. In traffic it can climb to 200-210. If the AC is off the fans don't run full time only when temp switches indicate. I am pulling from memory but the first temp switch doesn't turn on until 228F. These cars run...
The GM prototypes and 62 and 93 probably could be repaired/restored. As for the 1M and 1.5M Vettes these were as built off the production line, they can only be that way once....
Very sad.
Mike
Having gone through a confirmed Opti failure several years back I agree with the others to check the obvious first and work backwards. With the age not miles on your car you are definitely ready for the following which could be causing your problem:
Plugs
Wires
Fuel Filter
Now if that doesn't...
Unless you are talking about aftermarket vented isn't an option. The earlier 92-93 LT1's have a different drive gear cover setup and the later 95-96 vented will not fit without changing the time cover and a lot of other parts.
Thanks,
Mike
