No. I decided it must be intended to be used in place of the inline fuse holder so I went that route. It works fine and does protect the fuse from the elements much better than the open case inline fuse.
Also check out this thread on another forum that I have going. Some good info and pics.

Sure thing. I hope to have it all installed by the weekend. I'll be sure to post updates and pics of the entire setup as well as things I learn along the way. So far the actual installation has been pretty simple. The hardest parts (so far) was finding a suitable way to mount the WOT throttle...
Hailing all TPI NOS users.
Where the heck did you mount the WOT activation switch?
The bracket that came with my 05151NOS Kit does not lend itself to an easy mounting location near the throttle body bracket.
I should mention that I no longer have the air pump if this somehow was the intended...
I am in the process of installing a 150 HP WET NOS system on my C4. I have already upgraded the ignition system with the MSD Digital 6 box which I plan to use to retard the spark while on the bottle as I am running a Hypertech ThermoMaster chip (which I was told by Hypertech tech support does...
Getting started on the NOS install on my 88. While checking the inventory on my kit (Part No. 05151NOS) I found that I have one extra part and was wondering if it has a specific use.
The Part I am referring to is a nice molded fuse holder with a cover and two red wires attached. I realize I...
This one had me going for a while. Turned out to be an intermittent connection on the MAF sensor plug, harness side. What made it so difficult is that the connection seemed to be good most of the time when I had the MAF set in a position where I could watch the burn off wire when I engergized...
Finally getting around to a long overdue change of the transmission filter/screen in my 88 and was wondering about how much fluid is required to refill after the filter change. Can't find it in any of my manuals. I have read that the complete system holds about 11.5 qts but I don't plan on...
You've pretty much decribed exactly what I have in mind.
Still having difficulty deciding on which heads though. I've read a lot of varying opinions about the AFR heads and a lot of good things about the Brodix Race-Rite series. Still gathering info at the moment. Any recommendations?
I...
Excellent info and advice. The adjustable fuel pressure regulator was one of those spur of the moment bolt on miracle devices that I am sure many of us are guilty of purchasing at some point. Falls in line with the air foil I suppose. But anyway I installed it and pretty much set it to the stock...
Thanks for the info. I thought that was the way I remembered it working when I first installed it but it has been a while. I actually turned it from min to max and saw no change. I did a few more checks and it looks as though the in tank pump fuel pump pressure is low. Actually it starts off...
This may sound like a dumb question but I have good reason for asking.
I have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator (Mid-America brand) installed but the fuel pressure is reading lower than normal. When I first start the car it reads about 38 but after it warms up a little it drops down to...
Can anyone tell me the MAF Burn Off Cycle Duration?
I'm getting a code 36 on my 88 and have found the MAF wire is only heated for about 2 seconds after shutting down the engine (after it has reached operating temperature). Not sure if this is enough time for the ECM to get a good reading or not...
