When I engage the cruise control the car keeps acelerating is this the transducer are there any adjustments for it or can it be rebuilt. :bash

Anyone know why my cruise control when engaged keeps accelerating. When I get to a certain speed and I engage the cruise the speed just keeps on going. Thanks in advance you guys are great and i know you'll give me great insight on where to look. :w:beer

Anyone know how important it is to have the hood insulation is it for sound deadening or heat protection for the hood paint.
