    My dreaded Firestone experience...

I've had pretty good experiences with Tire Rack also. Fortunately I live within a couple hours drive of South Bend, so I just drive straight there and save on the S/H. They mounted and balanced the tires right there for something like 10 bucks a pop, and were very easy people to deal with...

    Tire speed ratings...

To the best of my knowledge, the speed rating is a measure of how fast one can safely drive on a particular tire. Check out http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/general/speed.htm Paul :w

    Stolen 2000 Coupe

It's amazing how many unscrupulous car dealers there are out there. Some of you may recall my experience a month ago when I became 'Vette-less. http://corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16876 Since I've begun my search again for another Corvette, I've definitely been...

    LT1 or L98

I've owned both an L98 and an LT1. The L98 was great off the line, but ran out of breath early, while the LT1 keeps on pulling. Both are great engines, but I prefer the LT1. Paul :w

    50th Edition

You might want to get with Rick Daniel here on the site. Not sure exactly what kind of deals he has available on AEs at the moment, but he may be able to work something out with you. Paul :w

    90's LT1 in a early shark?

I don't really have any expertise with the swap itself, but I will go on record as saying I don't think it sounds like a far fethced idea. I've read some articles in various magazines where people put LT1s in C1s and C2s. Hey, it's all about making the car you like. As long as it gets done the...

    Interior color change

Thanks for the insight Bob. Unfortunately at the moment it is a moot point because I no longer have the car... http://corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16876 Should I be in the situation again though, I'll keep your comments in mind :) Paul

    Edelbrock Performer LT1 intake manifold

Hi all. I remember reading some articles a few years ago about an intake manifold for the LT1 from Edelbrock. Was that product ever released, and if so, does anybody have any experience with it? Just curious. Thanks! Paul :w

    LT4 CE vs LT4

Okie, I lubricate my weatherstrip with GM dielectric silicone grease (Part Number 12345579). It keeps it looking decent, and helps tremendously to cut down on the annoying squeaks that the removable roof has been notorious for. I don't know how it would do for already cracking rubber, but it...
