    Paint with body "on" or body "off"??

    Painted mine on the car. I didn't want to risk chipping or getting any stress cracks in the body by doing a off car paint. Good luck.

    17 inch wheels on my 69

    17X8 will work all around. 4" backspacing. 0 offset. 5X4 3/4 bolt pattern. You can go wider in the rear but you may need to relocate the brake bracket.

    Front Grill question on a '68

    All the repo's I have seen are all black. You can paint the edges with some silver, just make sure you clean them well before spraying.

    sandblasting engine

    VERY BAD IDEA. Do not do. The sand WILL get into your engine. I have sandblasted for a # of years and know for a fact you will not keep the sand out of your engine.

    Stress crack touch-ups

    unless you repair the stress crack all the way it will only get worst. Water will get under your paint at the crack spot and lift the surrounding paint. The best way to fix it will be to grind out the crack, fill/fix with fiberglass, and repaint the area. A good body shop should be able to...

    Stripping Paint

    Stay away from the chemicals. I did mine with a razor blade. Worked great. Just take you r time . I did mine working a couple of hours a night for about a week. I canshow some the in process pictures.

    Do what you want, But make sure you keep the original motor. That way if you ever sell or want to return it to original you have the correct motor.
