Blizzaks all the way around helps! Let me know if you need to know what size to run on the rears... All weathers are ok but the Blizzaks make for good driving when it does snow.
Marathon is easy to find in my area and I run their 93 octane. Marathon's "other" brand is Speedway but is only available at 92 octane for their premium. 89 octane is good for the highways for long trips - 300 miles or more - but I haven't tried any regular, ever.

Check the top of the lens assembly. The bulbs run hot and will actually burn a hole through the top over time. Pulling the lens assembly out isn't fun but will be necessary to fix this issue. I replaced both at the same time and don't expect to replace them again for another 8 years.

The reset button works correctly. I have been clearing low tire pressure warnings since it's been getting cooler out recently. The reset also worked through other options but not on twighlight sentinal yesterday.
Quite sure it was delivered in USA - had the VIN run at the Chevy Dealer near me and he asked if I was the original owner by addressing me by that person's name...
Why won't the reset button work? Does the car have to be running or off? Does the light sensor have to be in a bright area to make...
Thanks but I can't get the reset button to switch the twighlight sentinal off as shown on page 2-99 of the owners manual. http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/specs/c5/2001/2001corvette.pdf
The reset button works for the other options but not this one.
Any other suggestions?
I can't find out how to turn off the twighlight sentinal on my '01.
I went through the Options but there isn't an obvious way to turn it off.
It was off when I got the car but was somehow turned on after the third fix for the steering lock security fix.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
Are you guys racking up the miles or just driving occasionaly? What tires are you running and how many miles per year do you drive your vette? How is the tread wearing at 30 psi?
Rick,
I am experimenting with tire pressures right now. I'm running Kumho ASX's and at 28 psi cold, the pressure goes up to 32 psi after several miles. The center of the tread on the rear tires is wearing while the outside edges are less worn. This indicates that there is too much pressure. I...
No major issues with my '01. It came with 27k miles on it 2 years ago and I've spun the odometer up to 87k. I had some sensor issues early on in 2007 but after that, the only significant issue I have is the C1214 code that I'm working on correcting now (EBCM). Rear tires have lasted about 30k...
