My buddy is very meticulously restoring a 1969 big block.
He cannot find anything that says which way the tie rods are installed.
There are, of course, left hand and right hand thread ends on the tie rods.
He wants to know if the right-hand threads go toward the outboard or inboard.
Thanks in...
E-mailed parts@vette2vette.net (web site is vette2vette.com)
He has it for $16 shipped.
I think I'll take it for that price.
Thanks for your help. :thumb
Thanks for the lead B17Crew. I sent the pics to them and they have one.
They want $25 and that doesn't even include shipping!
I don't think I am gonna go for it right now.
At those prices I can part my car out and use the money to buy a new ZR1 !
Thanks again.
1996 LT1 Coupe
How can I find the part or part number for the clip that holds the wire loom at the top of the upper coolant tank? It is the one toward the center of the car. Mine broke.
Clip is here:
Broken "half":
Thanks in advance.
1996 with original Bose Gold system. Unit has not seen much use, the car is garaged 99% of the time. If I have a cd in the unit and I turn on the radio the cd ejects. If the radio is on when I start the car, the cd ejects. Anybody else experience this? Thanks
Can anyone tell me the source, or where to get a suitable for framing copy? It hits the nail right on the head for me.
I cannot remember the web site where I got this image. And the quality just isn't there for framing.
Thanks in advance for the help
Thanks again for the tips B17Crew.
I have been playing with the Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish ever since.
I even tryed it on the stock exhaust since it is visible from the rear.
WOW - awesome job !
I'll be heading out to get some Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish tonight !
I've been trying to figure how to clean the alternator and AC compressor
Thanks !
