Thanks for the response. I will be interested in what Sylvania has to say. My car is in storage already so I have not driven it since I last changed the bulb. Though given the mild weather we are having in NH I am wondering if I needed to put it in storage.
I have a 97 and when I had it inspected in October they changed the left driving light/blinker. It was burned out again before I even got it home. Bought two replacement bulbs and replaced it. The new one lasted less then 1 hour. Just repleced it again but have not had the car out so not...
I had a 78 Sliver Anv. for over 19 years. My wife would never drive it and we seldom used it because I did not want it damaged and she did not like the ride. It only had 18,000 miles on it after 19 years. We also had a chance to sell it and get a C5. We did, and now I can't get her out of...
Guess its time to look for a solid tourch red top. I may also investigate tinted reflective coatings.

I have a 97 coupe and it gets very hot when parked in the sun even up here in New Hampshire. I had a 78 SA with mirrored T-tops and it never got hot because the tops refelcted the sun. The top on the 97 is not mirrored and only has a slight blue tint. Has anyone seen a mirrored top similar to...
I have had the same problem for over a year. There are a couple of other old threads on the problem on this forum but no solution. My delear checked out the FOB and says it is ok. They also took a quick look at the problem but found no solution. My car is a 97 coupe. I have changed...
Did anyone ever find the solution of the key FOB forgetting. I also have the problem of the setting the FOB and it working for a few hours and then forgetting the next day. Reprogram it and it works for a while and then a few days latter it has forgotten again. I had the dealer look at it...
That's what you would think but we have gone throught the car and their is no obivious addition. We have compared it to another 97 and see no additional components.
The mechanics at the Corvette dealership also have no idea. They have spent a few hours trying to figure out what is going on.
I reciently sold my 78 and purchased a 97. I have been told that 97 did not have a remote start and I was told that their is no remote start on my car but if I hit the lock button twice the car will start. So far no one knows why. I also have problems with the fob. It will learn the fob and...
