GM's V8 Production Down by Half - Should Next Gen Corvette Adopt a V6 to Keep Up with the Times?

As has been posted earlier, they sorta did the entry-level thing with the Sky/Solstice. Didn't work. Now, if they did it with the Corvette body and made sure to install really big f@rt can exhaust tips, then just maybe it might? :chuckle

GM's V8 Production Down by Half - Should Next Gen Corvette Adopt a V6 to Keep Up with the Times?

Why? Some seem to think the Corvette needs a V6 because it needs a V6. Exactly why? What would a V6 do for my favorite fun machine that I would really, really like? Fuel mileage? Check the mileage figures here Gas Mileage of 2012 Vehicles by BMW - nothing there that gets me excited...

    low beam headlights

I'm looking at the Factory Service Manual (for '06 but should be pretty similar for '05), Vol. 3, pages 8-577-579. It's a pretty involved procedure to drill down to the actual problem. I think you either need this FSM, a scan tool, & some professional (mechanical! ;LOL) help, or, preferably...

    low beam headlights

This thread DRL's stopped working - Corvette Forum suggests toggling the headlamp selector on the stalk. Maybe the contacts there are not working correctly & are sometimes keeping the low beams from coming on. Your description makes me think the light sensor is working properly. Switching to...
