Oh, thought I mentioned that it was the door. But I figured it out. Thanks.

Photo request of C2 Coupe weatherstriping (1967)

I'd like a shot at the 90 degree bend downward. I'm a bit confused about whether I put the weatherstriping on correctly. I took reference photos but they are not defined enough. I did it this way: But while I went to do the other side, the weatherstriping seemed to like to be positioned...

1967 wipers shut off in clockwise position instead of in the CC position as they should??

John, Thanks for the reply. I will get into this again as soon as the weather gets a bit warmer. It's about 25 today and that's too cold for this old man:L. Regards, Fred ps. at least they are working now after I took the motor off and cleaned the old lube out and relubbed it- before they...

1967 wipers shut off in clockwise position instead of in the CC position as they should??

From my "off" position (which is full clockwise), if I turn them one click positon CC they go on slow - to the next CC position they go on fast. All the plug in's can go in only one way so anyone know what is wrong? Thanks

Headlight Door "Up" Adjustment - 1981 Corvette

I know this is an old post but FWIW, the repro assembly that I have recently purchased is different from the oem. In Peter's last photo, the "hockey puck" bracket has the 2 bolt holes with elongated slots. The repro's do not have that adjustment range. In additon, at the other end of the...

    Voltage and/or Electrical question

First off, the car has been off road for 4 years. I have a 2002 battery in it that's been on a Tender all the time. I know I need a new battery when the car gets on the road especially if it doesn't power up the motor when I try and start it - which hopefully will be in the next few days. I put...

Heater box removal and inside flat heat "rivet" still holding it on

It's off. The "mystery" nut was holding a clamp which was holding 3 wires. I poked a wire thru the bottom nut location and measured (from inside) the distance upward - found the wire coming thru the firewall and measured the distance upward - and still couldn't believe it when I pryed the...

Heater box removal and inside flat heat "rivet" still holding it on

All my other ductwork is off along with all other nuts/bolts. This is on the top left and it is holding the heater box on. I tried prying what appears to be a clip (on what appears to be a flat head rivet") off but it didn't budge. It is whats holding the box on. How does it come off - there is...

Need Photos of Tranny Cooling Lines at Radiator

Let me be honest here:). I hadn't actually connected the lines in my above post but just layed the coolent lines ready for attachment. In my instance, it was a simple routing lying underneath the car and putting the forward lines (to the rad) under the LCA. The other day, I went to connect...

    '69 Frame on resto progess....

Only a few things left to do before I can test fire it up and take a quick spin around the block to make sure all is OK before the snow will lock it in for the winter. I have the carb apart and intend to do some jet/primary/secondary rod mods. I have to put the radiator in and connect the auto...

Need Photos of Tranny Cooling Lines at Radiator

Bob,:thumb Getting the trans lines in were a snap. I forgot the routing (they were taken out a couple of years ago) and was trying to fish them through the wrong way - think that had anything to do with the problem of me getting them in:chuckle. It must have taken all of 5 minutes when I did...

Need Photos of Tranny Cooling Lines at Radiator

:thumb Thanks for providing the above photos, Bob I'm in the process of putting new lines in and :ugh am wondering why I didn't put them in right after I dropped the motor in without accessories. Looks line another one of those "take off what you just put on to get something else on you should...
