Goo Gone! Used it on both wheel weight adhesive and the glue under the 'GM' side emblems. Will not harm the paint, which I was very worried about under the emblems. :thumb

Aftermarket 'MIGHT' sound better? Thats a good one ;LOL I would use the word 'positively' :L

It is possible, but before you go to all that work, make sure you have heard it first and have compared the sound to a good aftermarket system :beer

Just personal preference, but Double D's (I'm talking exhaust tips here) just don't do it for me.

Borla Stinger! Tried Corsa Sport for a week, but as you say, not loud enough. Personal preference only, but I love the muscle car sound, no drone (at least on my '07), quiet at high speed cruising in 6th, and four 4" tips. :beer

I only had the Corsa Sports on for a week, but no matter what I adjusted, I could NOT get the tips where they looked good. I've heard the same thing from a number of Corsa buyers.

I put the rear plate on w/o a frame. I do put some self-stick felt pads on the back of the plate edges in case it comes in contact with the paint.

18 hp sounds VERY optimistic. I've never heard of a catback adding much at all. But, as long as they look and sound good, you're ahead! Congrats!

Borla Stingers for a muscle car sound! Not as loud as B&B bullits but much louder than Corsa Sports. Plus, the axle back system weighs substantially less than stock (unlike the Corsa's, which weigh more)

Owning a Corvette and owning a good pet are somewhat alike. If you can't afford to feed it right and take care of it, you probably shouldn't have it. I know I've never owned a Corvette that I wanted to detune with regular gas.
