my buddy did his shop with 1 1/2" PVC. It even adds volume to the tank. He's had one joint fail in 10yrs. Just use the cleaner/primer and fresh glue. At the price of copper now I bet you'll faint when you hear how much.

Take a look at this info. I have the cibie lamps with 100/130w bulbs and a relay kit in my 87. They have more light than anything else for the money. Equal to any arc-discharge or xenon.
They draw 18amps on low beam so a wiring upgrade is necessary...
I have Cibie euro lamps in my C4 with replaceable H4 100/130w bulbs. I upgraded the wiring with relays to carry the current. They are at least equal to any of the arc-discharge lights and not blue.

look at this page Daniel Stern actually sells euro stuff in...
I think the one piece seals started in 87. If it's a one piece see how it looks. I go with your wrench, leave sleeping dogs lay.
My 215k mile 87 doesn't leak and it's never had any seals changed.

At curb idle I won't say anything about the red glow. I know for a fact if you raise it to about 1500rpm and get a solid red glow you have a plugged up cat.
If seem to be down on power an exhaust restriction might not be a reach.

When I installed 13" brakes on my 87 I got Bobcat pads and a set of rotors from Carbotech. Something like $160 for pads and rotors.
The pads don't dust much at all and they stop good. Quite on the street and are not cold natured.
If you don't need rotors and have no complaints get another set...
Look for a specific charge proceedure for AutoFrost. A lot of the R-12 replacements don't take the same amount to charge a system. It's best to do it by pressure.
What are your gauges reading? What's the outside temp? what is the engine rpm? All of those will have an effect.
40 sounds a...
Has your lock cylinder ever been replaced? That sounds like the VATS problem. If your lights don't dim it's somewhere in the starter interupt circuit. My 87 did the same type thing.
Most of the early pass key cars had problems with the switch. It won't make contact with the resistor in the...
look at racetronix.com they have an upgrade pump and wiring harness. The harness may be all you need. I don't have it by the hype sounds believable.

The Last Detail has real GM parts at a good price.
You can get a quality belt at a lot of places. NAPA anyway.
I think the last one I got was $40 something.
Put the old one in the storage bin for an emergency.

J55 13" brakes will fit behind the early 16/9.5 wheels. I had to file the outside of the calipers down about an 1/16 inch before they didn't scrape the inside of the wheels on my 87.

The tire companies limit manufacture defect warranty to 5 years. Tires as old as yours get hard with age and they can come apart if they get hot. An old tire won't stop in the rain and it won't have decent traction on a dry road.

If alignment doesn't help look at tierod ends then wheel bearings. Before I replace all the wheel bearings on my 87 it was doing what you described. They were really out of tolerance. The spec is under .006" end play if I remember correctly. The shake test won't get it, use a dial indicator...
Like I said earlier the CIEBE euro coded lamps and 100/130w H4 bulbs will at least equal any HID lights. Total cost @ $200 and an afternoon to upgrade the wiring.

Consumer Reports has an article on headlight bulbs this month. Short answer. They didn't find a big difference between the expensive bulbs and OEM for the price.
I got CIEBE lamps 100/130watt bulbs and a relay kit from http://www.danielsternlighting.com/home.html
Wire and a Saturday and I...
If lock cylinder is replaced I think someone can key the new cylinded to the orginal key. Otherwise you will end up with a new switch key. When I got my vette years agao I got the old keys and they had enough meat to cut down to work in the new lock. The key resistance, code is in the vats...
