Question: Lower Temperature fan switch kits.

What I know of most system and from what I have researched.. the 90+ is ECM controlled, but the pre-90's is not (?), 84-89 is switched and relay controlled. (guys correct me if I am wrong). The Fans are not always controlled by the ECM. As in my 84 Z28.. it has a fan switch in the passenger...

    new engine options....

I would suggest the 383 stroker route with mid range CAM (Calif smog), some LT4 ported heads and Intake. there are many Engine builder that will sell you a custom turn-key crate engine for a fair price. If that doesn't get you to the power level that you want, there are other bolt on's and power...

Question: Lower Temperature fan switch kits.

I am not sure how the Vette TPI and ECM works... but I know that many have put a HyperTech or other kits that include a new Fan Switch and sometimes a harness and some require a ECM change or chip. On my 84 Z28 I used GM #3053190 (Delco 213-928 or Standard TS136) that has a on setting of 195...

WhalePirot Thanks for your input... I have used K&N without any problem and yes, I understand that some have had problems and other don't think that they Perform or is worth the cost. I guess I am just one of those old guys.. if it ain't broke, then don't fix it.. and if it works for me. .then...

Any way to make the driver side seat higher

Just use a few washers and if needed, go to the hardware store and pickup a few grade 8 bolts that are longer.. You will be supprised at what a 3/8" to 1/2" will do in your seating postion. Maybe just try sitting on few Corvette Catalogs on top of the seat just to see what the difference will...
